Word-hoard
knibber: a male deer when the antlers first appear

Did you always want to do what you're doing now? Did you know, growing up, that you always wanted to do [whatever it is you do now]? When I was little, I wanted to be an NFL quarterback for a while, or maybe play violin professionally in an orchestra. I never reckoned I'd be a marketing manager - in fact, because that's been my dad's deal for so long, I fought tooth and nail against it.

I also never reckoned I'd write. I came to fiction writing five years ago, at the ripe old age of 31, and it was a serious surprise. So, what about you? Have you always thought of yourself as a _________?
