HNS on Facebook

Hurray! Historical Novel Society is now on Facebook. If you're also on Facebook, stop by and join the group.

The next issue of the Historical Novels Review is due out soon, and I'm stoked - three of my reviews will be included! I reviewed Territory by Emma Bull, Calligraphy of the Witch by Alicia Gaspar de Alba, and The Last Troubadour: Song of Montsegur by Derek Armstrong!

  1. Thanks for blogging about this!

The next HNR is at the printer... I'm hoping it'll be ready within a week or two.

  2. I'm going to have to get a Facebook one of these days, aren't I. I can't escape!

  3. Sarah - I can't wait!

Heather - RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. You can set your profile to private so only people you choose to be your friends can see it. You also don't have to use your maiden name anywhere... :)

  4. True. I tend to forget that the folks I'd rather not reunite with don't know my married name. Bonus! I know I'll have to do it eventually, for networking. Hey, at least it's not MySpace!

Did they solve those privacy issues? I don't want my info sold to companies.

  5. You know, I'm not sure re: the privacy stuff. I can say I haven't received random spam or offers since I started using Facebook, if that's any indication.
