manna: "According to the Old Testament, it was a miraculous food that fell from heaven for the children of Israel during their wanderings in the wilderness as they fled Egypt. According to Talmudic tradition, it was created on the evening of the sixth day of creation. It was also interpreted by Jewish and Christian authors to be a symbol of the Logos.
