So, my local classical station (KDFC) has moved to a slightly new format. They were never really a serious classical station - they'd only play one movement of a piece, for example, and never really anything before 1650. I know to get my early music elsewhere.

But their new format is actually kind of cool - it's classical, but also movie soundtracks, and classical interpretations of modern songs - for example, there was a classical "cover" of Radiohead song, and the Apocolyptica cover of Metallica (which was included in one of the soundtracks featured in my Writers & Soundtracks podcast - Elizabeth Chadwick).

Anyway, they stream online if you want to check it out.
