The World of Oleanna: Norwegian History Primer

When you think of Norway (if you think of it at all), what comes to mind? Stunning scenery? Vikings? A successful socially liberal society? Hot blondes?

Sarah Johnson at Reading the Past very graciously allowed me to provide a primer on Norwegian history, leading up to the dissolution of the union of Norway and Sweden in 1905 (the backdrop to Oleanna).
