Finished du Maurier's The House on the Strand over the weekend, and I just have to say: if you like this book, I'm quite sure you'll also like The Pilgrim Glass.
This was the first du Maurier I'd ever read (I know...) and I loved the pacing, the history, the witty banter, the ambiguity. Most of all I loved the historical geography, and focus on landscape.
So, which one of her books should I read next?
